Time registration
The timing for all races will take place through the
B-Tag. In contrast to previous registration systems, the B-tag must
remain attached to the bib number. This will result in less
handling of the tag, thereby reducing the chance of errors
occurring.
Because the B-tag is attached to your bib number,
you can't forget it. The B-tag is also reliable and has been
successfully used in various events at home and abroad. Renowned
marathons such as the New York Marathon, Chicago Half Marathon and
Los Angeles Marathon have already moved to this time registration
system.
Running with a B-tag at the ABN AMRO Rotterdam Marathon
means:
- That you will be included in the results;
- That you can easily look up your finishfoto;
- That you can see a personalised video
What should I be aware of when securing my bib number to my
shirt?
- Your bib number must be worn so that it is clearly visible on
your chest
- Your bib number must not be folded or wrinkled
- All four corners of your bib number must be fastened to your
shirt
- You can not wear any clothing over your bib number
What is the official time?
The gross time is the official time! It starts when the starting
shot is fired and stops when you cross the finish line. The net
time is the time when you step on the mat at the starting line and
stops when you pass the finish line. This net time is listed as an
extra service.
